“Growing up in the South, Diana always loved the musical styles of the region, but it wasn’t until she was gifted her first banjo in college that she discovered her own musical potential. Playing banjo with local Americana and Old Time String Bands in North Carolina she found her singing voice, and began writing original songs influenced by folk, blues, and classic/traditional country music. Now based in Las Vegas, NV to complete a PhD, she continues to write and perform original songs in the Southern Americana style during her free time.”
